We are fully licensed by the North Carolina DMV to administer the Level 2 Road Test for teen drivers. Eligible students must:

o By Appointment Only, 72 hours in advance.
o Cost: (PAYMENT LINK WILL BE SENT TO YOU ONCE APPOINTMENT IS APPROVED).
o Location: 246 N New Hope Rd Suite 104, Gastonia, NC 28054
o Students can use their personal vehicle for the road test or use (RKTA VEHICLE) for an Extra Fee.
o Students must meet eligibility requirements for a Level2 License.
o Passing students will be given form to take to DMV to complete the final transaction.
Road Test Schedule
- Time slots: Every 30 minutes.
- Road test will be conducted every Saturday 8AM - 2:00PM. Slots fill up fast!
- If over 5 minutes late you must reschedule.
- Testing site: 246 N New Hope Rd Suite 104, Gastonia , NC 28054
Eligibility
- Student must be at least 16 and under 18.
- Student must hold NC Learner's Permit.
- Must hold a Learners Permit for at least 9 months.
- You must have completed the required 60 hours practice log.
- Parent/Guardian consent is required at time of testing. They must come with you to the road test.
After the Exam
After completing the exam, your test administrator will let you know if you’ve passed or failed. If you’ve passed, congratulations! Your next step is to go to the NCDMV with the following:
o DL-3A-CDTS Form (in sealed envelope, received from our school.
o DL-4A Driving Log (required to be complete to move to Level 2)
o Fee for issuance is $25.50
What Happens if You Fail the Road Test?
If you fail the Road Test, you may:
Book another Road Test appointment with our school (student may request another appointment for retesting within 48 hours or 2 business days)
